September 15 Reversed Prior Inflows

On the preceding trading day, the same group of ETFs attracted $159.9 million, according to Farside Investors.

Farside’s figures are denominated in US$m, with parentheses indicating outflows. The September 15 total was the biggest outflow since June 24, 2026, according to Cointelegraph; Bitcoin ETFs recorded $469 million in losses on that date.

FBTC and IBIT Led Withdrawals

Fidelity’s FBTC posted the largest single-fund outflow at $214.8 million on September 15. BlackRock’s IBIT followed with $161.7 million in net outflows, Farside data show.

The other listed products also recorded outflows: $44.1 million from GBTC, $17.4 million from ARKB and $12.4 million from BITB. Still, the fund-level figures show that the day’s redemptions were concentrated in FBTC and IBIT.

Bitcoin Decline and CLARITY Act Setback

Bitcoin was trading at $75,700, down 2.5% over the previous 24 hours at the time of reporting, Cointelegraph said. The ETF outflows occurred alongside that decline and coincided with the CLARITY Act failing to advance in the U.S. Senate. The available data establish the timing of these developments but do not identify a cause of the outflows.
